The journey of a bag from plane to passenger

Recently, a new baggage hall was opened at Keflavík Airport. The baggage hall is the first phase to be put into use in the new east wing of the terminal and will to improve the facilities and enhance passenger experience.

The new hall has been well received by passengers, but what visitors don't see is the system behind the scenes, the conveyor belts on which the bags travel from the time they come off the plane to the moment they are handed to the passenger.
