Isavia Presents the ORAT approach at The New National Hospital‘s Advent Seminar
Specialists from Isavia presented the ORAT approach at The New National Hospital's annual advent seminar.

Specialists from Isavia recently presented the ORAT approach at the annual Advent seminar of the New National Hospital(NLSH). This was the second time Isavia has had the opportunity to introduce ORAT to the New National Hospital.
The seminar is a platform for stakeholders to discuss the progress of projects, and this year’s agenda focused on design, construction, equipment, and facilities. At the seminar, experts were hired to give presentations on various topics that could be of value to the projects.
Among the speakers were Böðvar Schram and Marta Sigurðardóttir, specialists at Isavia. Their presentation focused on the implementation and use of ORAT, or Operational Readiness, Activation & Transition. This approach has been used by Isavia for the last decade and was implemented with great success during the big development project at KEF Airport. It has been very valuable in large-scale projects.
Isavia is honored to share its experience with ORAT and to support other organizations involved in major construction projects. Ever since its original implementation at Isavia, it has been clear to us that the approach could benefit more people, and through continued knowledge sharing and collaboration, it is evident that the ORAT methodology can bring significant benefits to Icelandic society.
